black-dog-institute-antony-bishop-triple-playWe’ve always said our Knicks are durable and comfortable, but this has to be the ultimate proving ground. Riding 754kms in under 24 hours in Triple Play Knicks. Antony Bishop of Diamond Cycle Tours along with 3 of his mates have undertaken this gruelling ride from Broken Hill to Dubbo in just under 24 hours. All in order to raise awareness and funds for depression and the Black Dog Institute.

“I am so sore. We rode 754km inside 24hours. I can barely walk, my feet, knees, wrists, neck, brain all hurt. It was a truly unbelievable experience, it will be some time until I think I might do it again” Antony wrote on his Facebook page. Without a mention of a sore behind, looks like the Triple Play Knicks did their job.

With 20 minutes to spare and 754kms travelled, Antony said he started crying once he had finished. Overall, they managed to raise about $220,000 in 2014 for the Black Dog Institute which the ride helped contribute to. Triple Play congratulates everyone involved in the ride and are glad to see our Knicks came out on top as well.

Depression is a serious matter which needs to be taken seriously. The Black Dog Institute is a not-for-profit organisation and world leader in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder. For more info, visit The Black Dog Institute
